During a funeral or farewell, acting quickly is often important. That is why we offer, when needed, an express service within 24 hours for renting LED candles. This allows a calm, warm and respectful setting to be created even with last-minute planning.
Recently, we provided candles for a private client who used them during an intimate farewell for her father at home in the evening, and again the following morning during the ceremony. From our side, it simply feels right that in such a situation we can offer the candles for both moments at the price of a single rental. In consultation, many things are possible. Especially during a farewell, the more candles there are, the more intimate, warm and comforting the atmosphere becomes.We have already rented out LED candles multiple times to private individuals for funerals and farewells. In practice, we often see that a large number of candles are not only placed around the coffin, but also spread throughout the ceremony room, chapel or home. This creates a soft glow and a sense of unity and calm — something that relatives often experience as deeply valuable.

How many LED candles are suitable for a funeral or farewell?

Many people initially think that 500 LED candles is a large quantity.
In an intimate space, this can certainly be appropriate. However, in larger venues such as a ceremony hall, church or crematorium, we often notice that this number visually disappears quite quickly.

What we regularly hear afterwards is:
“I wish I had chosen more candles — the light could have carried the space even more beautifully.”

A larger number of LED candles does not only create more light, but above all a different experience.
While 500 candles create accents, 1,000 to 1,500 candles create calmness, cohesion and a soft, enveloping atmosphere that truly fills the space. We currently have approximately 4,500 candles in stock. I, Scarlett Arts, would be happy to help you think about the distribution and placement of the candles. Through our Candlelight concerts and rentals, we have become an experienced partner in creating atmosphere and offering inspiration.

If you are unsure about the right quantity, we are happy to think along with you. Better a little too much warmth than the feeling afterwards that it could have been just a little more.

Verhuur van onze LED-kaarsen start bij een minimum van 250 kaarsen. Het maximum is op dit moment 5.000. De huurprijs is €2,10 excl. btw per kaars.

The LED candles can be delivered or collected 1 to 2 days in advance and will be collected or returned 1 to 2 days after the event. We do not provide setup or dismantling services.The candles operate on non-rechargeable batteries that will stay lit throughout all the hours of your wedding, funeral or event.This gives you maximum flexibility in your planning and allows you to easily place the candles yourself at the desired locations.

All mentioned prices exclude 21% VAT.

The LED candles come with batteries included and are ready to use upon arrival. In case of damage or loss, a fee of €12.00 per candle applies.

We specialise in urgent and last-minute requests.
Free courier service from 1,000 candles (NL) or 2,000 candles (BE).
Transport available based on quotation.
Or collect them yourself in Velp (near Arnhem).
The candles are packed in sturdy storage boxes for safe transport.
Filled with full non-rechargeable batteries.
Suitable for indoor use or covered outdoor locations.
The renter places and stores the candles themselves.
The candles are available for rent in a mix of 5 different sizes.
